About Amy Latchaw

Amy Latchaw is fairly new to HCPAC, but not to youth ministry or dance. Amy was called to youth ministry in 1997 and moved to Pensacola Florida to attend Bible College.  After graduating with a degree in Practical Ministry in 2000, she returned to Pa. Amy knew God wanted to revive a passion for dance that was ignited in her heart at the age of two. “I never knew God would use dance as a tool to reach out to this generation, but I’m so glad He does!”  Her heart for serving, discipleship, mentoring, teaching and equipping young people is the reason she is here at HCPAC.  She volunteered at HCPAC for several years and asked God to open a door for her here full time.  He did.  After working in mental health and alternative education, “I decided it was time for me to step into the call of full time ministry I know God has for my life.”  Amy resides in Mechanicsburg, Pa with her husband Bill of 21 years and is the proud mama of Jewel (21 yrs & nursing school student), and Joe (18 yrs & a freshman at IUP).  “I am so thankful God called me here and I am honored to co-labor here with so many amazing people."
