Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center

In an effort to reach more students for the cause of Christ, in September 2007 the YFC Board of Directors undertook a review of YFC's mission, strategies and programming.  Hundreds of hours were spent in prayer, evaluation, consultation, research and planning.  On Thursday, December 18th, at a meeting where the YFC staff was present, the Board, sensing the prompting of the Lord, voted unanimously to launch the Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center.  

We will remain Greater Harrisburg Youth For Christ.  However, the new Center will be a way to focus and organize our work in theater, music, education and the performing arts.  Lightforce will continue to offer students the same outreach events, camps and conferences.  The Eternity Players will continue to offer opportunities for students and familiies to develop their talents in theater.  In addition, the new Educational Wing will offer individual and group instruction in many disciplines of the performing arts.

The first project under the new banner of the Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center will be Unleashed.
