Welcome to The Booth!

The booth is a crucial part of any performing arts space. Microphones, spot lights, sound effects, and back stage direction all come from the booth. A stage manager makes sure all aspects of a show run smoothly from the booth. All crucial information about a performance ultimately comes from the booth, and now you have access to all of that inside knowledge. The Booth at HCPAC has been designed to give you access to information about productions, classes, and events. You’ll get sneak peeks, backstage photos, videos, devotions, interviews with cast and staff members, and more.

"Not My Will, But Thine"

The Garden of Gethsemane is personally my favorite moment in the entire account of the life and passion of Jesus.  This was the moment where Jesus saw all of the suffering he was about to endure.  In a small garden at the foot of the Mount of Olives, Jesus felt such anguish and fear that he begged his Father to “please, take this cup of suffering away from me!”  He prayed this so intensely and deeply that he sweat drops of blood.  There, in that garden, feeling the anguish and fear of what was about to come, he could have said no.  He could have decided that humanity was not worth the pain, suffering, and death he was about to endure.  Yet, knowing what he was about to face, Jesus ended his prayer “not my will, but thine.”  He chose to love us above all else.
